Introduction -

Halong Bay (Vietnamese: Vinh Ha ) is a bay located in the Gulf of Tonkin, 170 kilometres east of Hanoi, in northern Vietnam near the border with China. The bay has a 120 kilometre long coastlineg and isLon approximately 1,500 square kilometres in size. "Vinh Ha Long" (Halong Bay) means "Bay of the Descending Dragon" in the Vietnamese language. Ha means "descending" and Long means "dragon" in Sino-Vietnamese.

Day 1 Hanoi - Halong  (L,D)

Thien Cung Cave

Pick up at hotel then coach trip to Halong, transfer to Huong Hai junk, check-in registration, have lunch, enjoy a fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay to visit Thien Cung cave - situated on the south- west side the bay, 4 km from the wharf outside of Ha Long City. The way to Thien Cung is a perilous one, covered on both sides by thick forest. After entering a narrow gate, the grotto’s 130-meter-long girth opens up. Getting in we are more astonished in front of the very animated and splendid beauty which is made from stalactite. On the east wall of the grotto, there is a grandiose and imposing picture with characters of tales, Dau Go cave, round over Tuan Chau island, Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island and a swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board while watching sunset. You can try Fishing with seine, or have a sip on Vietnamese wine, overnight on Huong Hai junk.

Day 2  Halong (B,L,D)

Bo Nau Cave

Breakfast on the junk, Free at leisure for swimming. Enjoy another wonderful cruise to visit Tortoise island , Man's head island , Bo nau cave - Some 2-3 km southeast of Trong Mï Islet lies Bo Nau Cave or Pelican Cave. This vaulted grotto covers 200 m2. The floor of the grotto is wide and flat, but not deep, and its wall features lots of stalactites and stalagmites, Luon cave. Lunch, Visit Ba Ham lake, have a swim at Three peaches beach. Free leisure for fishing and relaxing, dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3  Halong - Hanoi (B,L)

Ti Top Cave

Breakfast onboard, Visit Bai Tu long Bay , Ti Topisland - Situated about 7-8 km south-east of Bai Chay lies the small Ti Top Island. It displays a beach shaped like a crescent moon, and sand that has been washed to a snowy white by the tide. On 22 November 1962, this tiny island had the honour of receiving a visit from astronaut Ghermann Ti Top, a hero of the former Soviet Union, accompanied by Ho Chi Minh., Chopstiks island , Bai tho mountain. Return to Halong city and have lunch on board. Transfer back to Halong wharf. Transfer on air con coach for trip back to Hanoi.
