The Con Dao Islands(Vietnamese Con Dao) are an archipelago of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, in southeastern Vietnam, and a district of this province. Situated at about 185 km from Vung Tau and 230 km from Ho Chi Minh City, the group includes 16 mountainous islands and islets. The total land area reaches 75.15 km² and the local population is about 5000

Program Schedule

Day 1 HCM

Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Meet & Ttransfer to hotel. Free for the evening, overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 2 HCM - CU CHI (B,L,D)

Cuchi Tunnel

Abf in hotel, city sightseeing tour including - War Museum - Interestingly, the museum also displays chemical warfares that were used against the Liberation Army during the war as well as victims of torture, torture chambers and chemical victims. There are also numerous snapshots by the American War reporters during the whole outcome of war and their opinions and articles as well. Proceed to Cu Chi village - Cu chi tunnel, The tunnels are also approxmately 3-4metres deep and are able to sustain the weight of a 50ton tanks, heavy artillery and bombardment. There is also a live firing range where toursits are able to buy live bullets (own expense) for various types of guns, handguns, machine guns and rifles used during the days of war. Back to Ho Chi Minh City, continue sity tour and shopping including, Notre Dame Cathedral - It is one of the most magnificent building located in the heart of saigon, built between 1877-1880 during the French Colony, it was officially named Notre Dame with the approval of the Vatican during the ceremonies held in December 1959 ,Central Post Office, China town - Most of the Vietnamese Chinese descent live in this district with most able to converse in Mandarin and other Chinese dialects, it is one of the favorite tourists spots due to its colourful and lively atmosphere.and Thien Hau Temple - one of the oldest temple in Saigon. Overnight in HCM City.

War Museum - historic pictures and warfare machines are displayed in this museum as well as pictures of individuals accounting their stories during the duration of war

Day 3 HCM - CON DAO (B,L,D)

Con Dao

Abf in hotel, check out hotel, transfer to airport for flight to Con Dao island. upon arrival, city tour including - Historical Museum, Phu Hai Prison - a convict prison during the French Colonial era and also later during the American War. Lunch, free at own leisure at its pristine beaches. dinner in local restaurant. Overnight at Con Dao.

Day 4 CON DAO (B,L,D)

Con Dao Beach

Abf in hotel, Continue city tour including - Hang Duong Cemetry, Tomb of Martyr Vo Thi Sau, Tiger cages, lunch and free at  your own leisure (swimming etc) till dinner time. overnight in Con Don.

Cu chi tunnel is a  historical tunnel with 200km underground network tunnels which the Liberation Army fought against the Americans in Vietnam War, the tunnels are 60-70cm wide and 80-90cm high but many has been re constructed for easy access to tourists.

Day 5 CON DAO - HCM (B,L,D)

Abf in hotel, transfer to airport for flight to HCM City. check in hotel, shopping or free for your own leisure. dinner in local restaurant. overnight in HCM city

Day 6 Departure (B)

Abf in hotel, free till time for departure to airport for flight back home
